PATI Y NACHO. Pati and Nacho got married on the 28th September of this year at the Casa de los Oficios. We discovered this place in that same year, and it is now one of our favourite locations. Soon after I met them I wanted to cover their wedding: they are a charming couple, full of joy and a great desire to enjoy themselves; a perfect mix for Volvoreta.
pasarlo bien, una mezcla perfecta para Volvoreta.
From the first minute, we were given free rein to develop our work, and we ended having a friendship, that later brought us to work together. Now they have their own social network and they are in charge of Volvoreta’s network. A total success!
La Casa de los Oficios gives up a room so the bride can get ready for the wedding. Pati together with her mother, grandmother and her two best friends lived some intense moments in this room prior to the ceremony.
She wore a simple design dress by David Christian
with an ochre belt that combined perfectly with her hand made shoes and headdress, both by Resán.
At the end of the ceremony, relatives and friends embraced them. They started clapping and laughing, and confetti flew in the air to celebrate this unforgettable day.
It was a grey day and it poured with rain during the ceremony, but it stopped when we left the church. The light after the rain is so special that a photographer couldn’t ask for more. The photographs we took were unique.
The greatest surprise at the wedding was to see them leave in a motorbike with a sidecar. It belonged to a friend and had battery failures, so when they got in, they couldn’t stop or they would be stranded. It was all very funny. It was the first time I had seen it, but now seeing the good time they had, I recommend everyone to do it and I’m sure they do too.
En la salida de la iglesia, ya pudo estallar la emoción entre confetti, aplausos y gritos de alegría... y abrazos con sus familiares y amigos para celebrar este momento inolvidable.
The banquet hall was profusely decorated with masses of colourful flowers.
The banquet was superb and lively!
We all enjoyed a very amusing sweets stall!
, is a team of illuminators that come from the photographic and theatre world. They took care of the illumination of the space and it looked spectacular. They used small lamps, candle lanterns and other details, making everything look beautiful and quite superb.
“Marry you” by Bruno Mars was playing when the bride and groom entered the hall were the lunch was going to be served. The guests were excitedly clapping, singing and dancing… I think that was the moment when everybody begun dancing and didn’t stop until dawn.
This lively couple met partying at night in Madrid, surrounded by their group of animated friends. This explains everything.
Livening up the place was a great friend, Francis Sax
, who turned the wedding into a real rave, as we heard one of the guests say...
